Here I am after bleaching my hair a couple of times...It is now dyed "Deep Copper Blonde" but isn't as dark as I thought it would be.

Strike over

Well, the strike is offically over. Not sure if I'm glad or not. I mean I want to get my school year over but since we had a break I'm going to be even more out of the study mode then I was before. And I wasn't really in the study mode before the strike...This semester isn't that great. All I have are boring classes that teach me I can't say "no" to children, I can't say ANYTHING negative to them because it will damage their self esteem, blah, blah blah, classes that teach me the developmental norms for children, and psychology. Meh, it'll all be over soon enough. And I guess it's good to know the expectations of child care givers these days. AHHH one more year and I am free from all this stuff!!! Yay! Anyways, I have to get going. Have a wonderful evening ya'll!!!

Still no job:(

I applied for a nanny job a couple of weeks ago and last week I went to meet the family and be interviewed. I hate interviews...anyways, I got an email tonight saying that the family has decided to hire one of the other applicants. So that means I am still jobless and I need a job this summer. Well, God knows exactly what He's doing so I'll be ok! I might apply to some day cares but I don't know yet...I really don't want to. Anyways, it's late and I'm tired. Have a wonderful night!

Sore Throats and Singing Things

Wow! Two posts from me on the same day! Amazing isn't it? I just thought I'd let everyone know I am suffering from a sore throat. I believe the cause of it is my puffers for my asthma. I have to take them twice a day and I think they have irritated my throat. So I can't talk...well I can but I sound funny. I also thought I'd share something pathetic I do after valentines day each year that I started doing last year. I buy myself something that sings a romantic song:) Last year it was a rose that sings "Sugar Sugar" and this year it's a bear that plays "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" I rather like them, they sit under my mirror on my dresser and I can listen to them sing as I get ready every morning to leave for school. My next thing to get: "Boyfriend in a Box" Heeheehee...That would be the most pathetic thing I have ever done. I'm gonna stop now before I embarrass myself;) Have a simply marvelous day!

Strike

Well, as of 12:01am I have no classes to attend, nothing to do. No reason on earth to be up at 7:00am!!! My teachers (along with all college teachers) have gone on strike! I am kind of happy. I need a break from school! I need time to do nothing...Ok, I'll be doing my school still. I have projects to do and I have three people coming over tomorrow to work on one. So it's not really a holiday;) I still have to go to placement at the Day Care this weekend so I can't go home:( I was supposed to have my mid-term evaluations this Thursday but my teacher is out picketing so I won't get them done...which basically means I won't have a mid-term mark...Oh well, it's too early to write anything and I am rambling... I'll keep you all updated on my life with no school;)
